StrategyByAI for Venture Capital (VC)

Financial modelling has shaped capital deployment for decades. Due diligence on revenue, margins, EBITDA, and debt structure becomes a relied-on ritual that nevertheless increasingly fails. Similar to the economics tools – Porter’s Five Forces, the BCG Matrix, and McKinsey 7S – the financial modelling ritual was designed in the 1980s to guide market competition. However, many companies seeking investments today are experiencing strategic conflicts, which differ from traditional market competition. Confrontation has changed competition as the principal challenge that the companies face. Besides the financial projections and market sizing, the actual strategic position and capabilities of the company in confrontational dynamics must be qualified to assess its prospects. We have created the methodology to do it.

StrategyByAI is an Italian research team working on the professional methodology of AI-governed strategic practice for political and business organisations. Our methodology counts traditional economic models but has different roots and functions. It is drawn from military science, strategy and operational art, geopolitics, and data intelligence, constituting a reasoning architecture for strategic confrontation. The methodology activates and structures vast pre-trained knowledge of LLMs to analyse the organisation and its strategic landscape and formulate and govern its strategy, controlling the critical points through cross-verification. It uses the unprecedented methodology of the Strategic World Models for calculating the organisation’s decision-making embranchment, intrinsic variability, uncertainties, and scenario prediction.

The methodology is ready for independent implementation by organisations. Currently, it operates as a structured text protocol running through commercial LLM interfaces (Claude, GPT, Gemini) with manual prompt execution by a human operator. It produces steadfast results. The platform development vision includes: an Analyst Workbench with module navigation, document management, and visual dashboards; a RESTful API for enterprise systems; an automated data pipeline for ingesting OSINT, classified sources, and organisational data; agentic execution for autonomous monitoring, scenario updating, and early-warning alerting; and a VC Portfolio Dashboard providing portfolio-wide strategic health views with alert triggers. We are interested in cooperation for developing these capabilities.

At the same time, Strategy by AI’s team runs the strategic practices of organisations as a contractor providing strategic analysis, guidance, and intelligence on the foes, partners, conflicts, and situations. Our case portfolios are available for scrutiny on strategybyai.org. We welcome the opportunity to discuss how the methodology can serve your investment practice.
