The architecture of the dominating form of existing Artificial Intelligence (AI) – Large Language Models (LLMs) – is committed to replicating the structure of the human brain. Their course of thinking reproduces the human brain’s neurone network interaction. However, the principal architecture of the human brain – its two-hemisphere entity – is not replicated in LLMs, and – a matter of crucial importance – the asymmetry of its hemispheres is not employed for LLMs’ perception, reasoning, and consciousness. Meanwhile, the human brain asymmetry is responsible for human language function and motor planning and spatial perception and processing of the contextual information – the features that differentiate humans from other highly organised living species. There were just three of us, a year ago, talking about how to handle this evident misarchitecture of LLMs. It happens that we come from the fields of science, airtightly segregated one from another: grand strategy and military revolution, business management and marketing, and cognitive and behavioural neuroscience. Besides their differences, all three disciplines face a similar challenge: the conversion of reasoning into planning and planning into action. Strategy – either political strategy or military strategy – is not just envisaging efficient moves but building force and projecting it into confrontation against the opponent to impose one’s will on it, subjugate it or destroy it. Business management and marketing – on a macro scale of economics or a micro scale of enterprise – not only develop the facilities and products but also govern the takeover of the critical capabilities to dominate markets, financial systems, and resources. Last but not least, neuroscience reveals how the human beings employ the brain to assess the situation by knowledge and intuition, make plans and improvise, and command the following action. Facing the common challenge, we have decided to reconstruct the asymmetric thinking-behaviour pattern of the human brain for strategic practice in politics and business, employing LLMs’ capabilities. Our team expanded, and experts like prompt engineers and data analysts joined us. Training or tuning LLMs was far from our reach, and we started to work with standard models – Anthropic’s Claude and Open AI’s ChatGPT – utilising their novel functionality of the project window. The idea behind the methodology was pivotal. Can we engage the LLM’s foundational capabilities – pre-trained knowledge and thinking technique – as the brain’s left hemisphere, responsible for language processing (which is LLM’s vocation), speech (command function), and motor planning (control of moves)? Can we arrange the information downloaded in AI-assistant’s project window to be the brain’s right hemisphere, responsible for context recognition, temporal and spatial positioning, and attention? Can we synchronise them in the human brain’s asymmetrical way to process the situations requiring resolution through reasoning, positioning, planning, and action by the prompts (meaning challenges)?
